We do not have an email facility. It is a terribly inefficient way of booking dental appointments. A telephone call will enable us to make you the correct appointment so much more quickly.

Cancellations

Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make an appointment. We do not normally charge for cancelled or failed appointments with the dentists but there is a £20 fee if you do not keep an appointment with the hygienist. Patients who persistently cancel or fail to keep appointments will be removed from our lists.

> Brushing Advice

What toothbrush?

We recommend that all patients, both adults and children, use a powered toothbrush. The Braun / Oral B brushes are excellent. A small round-headed brush is best. Teeth should be cleaned carefully and thoroughly at least twice a day.

What toothpaste?

Make sure you use a toothpaste that contains fluoride. Colgate and Oral B toothpastes are excellent. After brushing, spit out but don’t rinse.

Can you make my smile look nicer?

Almost always. Cosmetic dentistry is not about vanity and spending thousands of pounds to end up with a toilet-bowl white Simon Cowell ceramic smile. It can be as simple as polishing off some stains, smoothing some rough edges and replacing some old fillings. Ask the dentist about what we can do.
